Syncing Contacts to Phone.com
This document provides a step-by-step guide on how to sync your existing client base from the CRM to your Phone.com extension address book. Following these instructions will ensure a smooth transfer of your contacts.
Steps to Sync Your Client Base
Once your account has been authenticated with the CRM, you can proceed to push your existing client base to a Phone.com extension address book. Please follow the steps outlined below:
Step 1: Access VoIP Phone Settings
From the settings page, locate and click on the "VoIP Phone" option, then find the Phone.com section.
Step 2: Initiate Contact Sync
Click on the "Sync contacts" button. This action will prompt the system to pull in all clients that have not yet been synced with Phone.com.
Step 3: Start the Sync Process
To begin the synchronization process, click on the "Sync" button. The system will start transferring your contacts.
Important Note on API Rate Limiting
Due to API rate limiting at Phone.com, the system can only sync a limited number of contacts per minute. The syncing progress will be displayed, indicating how many contacts can be synced and how many have already been synced. It is important that you do not leave the page until the synchronization process is complete.
