Templating an Automation
This document provides a comprehensive guide on how to template an automation within the MedicareProCRM system. By following these steps, users can create reusable automation templates that can be utilized by their downline agents, enhancing efficiency and consistency across operations.
Steps to Template an Automation
To template an automation, please follow these steps:
Click on the automation you wish to turn into a template.
Find and click the "Make template" option.
Advantages of Templating Automations
The primary advantage of templating an automation is that it becomes available for all of your downline agents to use. This feature promotes standardization and allows for easier sharing of effective automation strategies.
Important Considerations
Before you proceed with templating an automation, please be aware of the following:
Once you template an automation, it can no longer be edited by you or your downline agents. Therefore, it is crucial to ensure that the automation is finalized before templating.
If you have been using an automation and decide to template it, that automation will no longer appear on your list. To reestablish it as your own automation, you will need to create a new automation and select the template from the dropdown options.
Templated automations will not preserve the specific "services" used in the original automation. For instance, if an action in the automation sends an SMS through Dialpad, the downline agent who uses the template will need to reestablish that action. The automation will not automatically know which Dialpad account to use, as it assumes the agent has the service connected.
By understanding these considerations, you can effectively utilize the templating feature to enhance your automation processes within MedicareProCRM.
